Global Maritime Academy Application form 2021/2022: We are pleased to inform all candidates that, the management of the Global Maritime Academy (GMA) is inviting applications from suitably and qualify candidates for admission into the vaiours programmes operating in the institution for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Admission Overview for 2021/2022 Academic Year

Full Time Regular/Part Time Programmes

Global Maritime Academy (GMA) Nigeria, invites application from suitably qualified candidates, for admission into the Full Time Regular/Part Time Programmes of the Institute for the 2018/2019 academic year, which leads to the award of ND (National Diploma) and NVC (National Vocational Certificate).

For the ND (National Diploma), Full Time Regular Programme, the following courses are available:

1. Shipping Management
2. Security Management & Technology
3. Marine Engineering Department
4. Maritime Transport
5. Welding and Fabrication Technology

Duration of Full Time Programme
The duration for Full Time ND programme is two (2) years of four (4) semesters while Pre-National Diploma is one (1) year of two (2) Semesters.

For the ND (National Diploma), Part Time Programme, the following courses are available:

1. Shipping Management
2. Security Management & Technology
3. Maritime Transport

Duration of Part Time Programme
The duration for Part Time ND programme is two (3) years of six (6) semesters while Pre-National Diploma is one (1) year of two (2) Semesters.

For the NVC (National Vocational Certificate)the following programme is available:

• Computer Studies

NOTE: Industrial Attachment is compulsory in all ND Students.

Entry Requirement for Full/Part-Time Programmes
All prospective candidates for the ND and NVC programmes must possess at least:

WASC/GCE O-Level, SSCE, or NECO with credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and anyone of the following subjects: Geography, Commerce, Agricultural Science, Government, Biology, or Chemistry at not more than two sittings.

Entry requirement for Welding and Fabrication Technology
O level credits in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physic and Biology

Pre-ND candidates must have four O’level passes.

Submission of Application Forms

Application form dully completed should be submitted ONLINE. The instruction on how to complete the application form is very explicit. After successfully submitting the application form online, you will be given the Bank Name and Account Number and Amount to pay for the application form.

Late Application Fee

Late submission of application Form attracts an administrative fee of =N= 2,000.00. Not applicable yet.

Screening Exercise

The screening exercise for the 2017/2018 Session will hold in the School Campus on a date and time that will be anounced to candidates. All prospective students will be expected to be at the School Campus, Ogoni-Olomu,Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria, early enough for the screening.
